Steve Jobs
The genius that designed the future.
1996 was a tough year for Apple's software. MacOS wasn't doing well, and Apple turned on BeOS, developed by Be inc. But, at the last minute, Apple decides to buy NeXT, in order to get their hands on the NeXTSTEP software and solve their problem.
It was official. On December 20, 1996, Steve Jobs was back at Apple. By that time, Apple would produce tons of succesfull pieces of tech. First came MacOS 8 based on NeXTSTEP. Then was a huge hit, the now famous iMac.
Job's dreams were becoming real one by one. In 2001 he introduced the first computer "As thin as a book", the PowerBook G4. The year 2001 came with another new device, the iPod, a revolutionary music player. Apple was quickly gaining control over the whole tech market. But this technology revolution peaked in 2007, when Steve Jobs completely changed the mobile phone industry introducing the "iPhone".
In 2011, after creating the iPhone 4 and a new device called the "iPad", Jobs was no longer the CEO of Apple due to medical reasons. Steve has offered technology much more than most people think he has. He was crazy enough to believe he could change the world, so he did.
