The genius that designed the future.

Pixar started off as a part of Lucas Film, then called "The Graphics Group". In 1986, Steve Jobs paid George Lucas 5 million dollars for rights, in order to basically "own" Pixar. Afterwards, he funded the company with 5 more billion dollars.
The guys at Pixar worked hard, while collaborationg with Disney, and finally in 1996 the first computer animated film , "Toy Story", hits the cinemas. As expected, the movie sold really well, and became an iconic movie. It is said that it's animation can still compete movies with today's standards.
