Birth and family life.

Steve Jobs was born and set to be adopted in February 24th, 1955 at the city of San Francisco. His parents, Abdulfattah "John" Jandali and Joanne Schieble, had decided to give out their newborn baby for adoption to a lawyer and his wife. When the couple found out that the baby was a boy, they decided to not adopt him anyways. So the baby was given to be brought up by another couple, Paul and Clara Jobs.

Since his father was a mechanic, young Steve enjoyed discovering how things work and function. Later on he would show a sympathy towards electronics.

As Paul and Clara Jobs had promised to Steve's biological parents, Steve would go to college. He decided to go to the Reed College, though it was one of the most expensive colleges. However, Jobs quickly got bored of the college and didn't want to charge hi parents more money, so he dropped out of Reed on his first semester. He was still allowed to attend classes, and he selectively attended some for several months after dropping out. He attended a calligraphy class which totally changed his opinion on fonts and typography.
